Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is the leading supplier of architectural glass and aluminum glazing systems, including custom-engineered curtain wall and window wall, architectural windows, storefront systems, doors and skylights. Our company is currently seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for our Standard Products group in Terrell, Texas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review shop drawings, architectural drawings, material take-off, estimate and other documents
• Provide coordination, correspondence and assistance to our customers and internal OBE personnel while maintaining customer relations and confidence
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all project related documents
• Meet with customers, general contractors or architects
• Review customer shop drawings for obvious structural and application problems
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to effectively work with drafting sources, material suppliers, customers and various OBE departments to obtain maximum cooperation
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, architectural drawings and specifications
• Basic knowledge of OBE standard products and their applications
• Basic knowledge of structural design criteria applicable to Vistawall products
• Ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to solve problems in a fair, firm and friendly manner
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Bachelor’s degree and industry related experience preferred
