Project Manager – Finance Change – VP recruitment

One of the world’s leading investment banks is looking to employ qualified accountants into its change management team within its dynamic finance division focussed on financial and regulatory reporting. This is part of the wider financial transformation the bank is entering into.  The roles are due to generic growth within the division and are a result of the changing global financial climate. The team comprises of several high calibre individuals who have a passion for their work.

The role offers a large amount of diversity with on-going change. Some key responsibilities are as follows:

-          Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders and contributing to process improvements

-          Managing the regulatory and financial reporting portfolio

-          Reviewing process change related to front to back business process and controls, ledger accounting and the PL processes

-          Execution of various projects and seeing them through to completion

-          Working on design and analysis

-          Working closely with the IT division and assisting in delivering of high level solutions

-          Being a point of contact and information source on regulatory change

-          Managing Basel 3 requirements and implementing change

-          Reporting change management

-          On-going projects and offshoring

-          Reporting on the status of projects

To be considered for this role you will have a relevant accounting qualification. You will ideally have worked within a change management Business Analyst or Project Management role within a bank and will have high level communication skills. You will have a strong eye for detail and will be driven and self-managed.
