Docklands Based Investment bank seek a IT Project Manager, from a Production Support Background is required to manage a programme of change across the production support group for Prime Services, Futures and OTC Technology. The programme’s objective is to create a target operating model, to provide a follow-the-sun support model under a single management support group, leveraging higher levels of resources in the lower cost centres and thus reduce the overall cost RTB. It will be the Project Managers role to work with the management teams within Technology and the business leads in these areas, to ensure that the business requirements for all of these areas are taken into account whilst formulising the final target operating model. From this a project plan will need to be derived to define the transformation from the current to the new model, which the project plans are adhered to within time, budget and quality objectives. This is a significant project with aggressive deadlines and is contributing to a strategic Technology transformation initiative. As such, you will need to ensure that project updates/costings are provided on a regular basis with regular updates being given to senior management. A governance body/structure will also need to created and implemented by the PM with representation from I.T., business, planning and finance stakeholders. You will be responsible for reviewing and understanding the current support model for the various existing teams. Engaging with management of each region in order to create new or build on existing functions where they exist already. Identify resources to complete project tasks to drive forward project. Ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. Implement a governance structure. Creation of a project steering committee with attendance by key stakeholders. Ensure support teams are briefed on a regular basis to ensure continual buy-in from the current management and team members of the proposals and programme. You MUST have Strong project management experience. Experience of working with remote teams in multiple regions with off shoring experience and an understanding of ITIL support disciplines to ensure quality is maintained during transformation
