Project Manager II Job in Sacramento 95838, California Us

The Project Manager shall under limited supervision, manage and coordinate specific projects.  This includes creating project schedules, track documents, generate RFI's and generate/track change orders.  The project manager shall also direct, coordinate and facilitate multiple jobs at one time and coordinate, with the operations manager, project coordinator, technicians, installers, designers and sales team. 

1. Experience with large construction and direct project management with various low voltage systems projects.

2. A Bachelor's degree preferred in project management, business and/or engineering disciple.

3. High school diploma, or equivalent, valid driver's license, good driving record and able to pass a strict background check. 

4. Experience with fire alarms systems, security systems, access control systems; knowledge of automatic fire sprinkler systems installation; repair of water based fire sprinklers, read and understand complex construction blueprints, diagrams and specifications used in installation.

5. Knowledge of Project Manager principles, practices, techniques and tools.

6. Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills to include organizing and coordinating project meetings.

7. Strong personal computer ands related software application skills.

8. Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes and perform in-depth work analyses.

9. Ability to assist in developing project budgets and projections.

10.Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long range goals.

11.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

12.Knowledge of NFPA 72 and NEC codes is an asset.

13.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
