My client who is a leading supplier of Virtual Gaming events to the betting and gaming industry is looking for an exceptional Project Manager to join their ever expanding Project and Production team based in Manchester. Lead provider of open server based gaming systems and machines for leisure and gaming clients with events appearing daily in betting offices/ client venues on the web for clients across the UK and the rest of the world.
Key responsibilities
" Assist the VRS Production team in order to meet planned development targets on all projects, meet strict deadlines and manage specific client projects from the start to completion of client handover/ sign off by the client.
" Liaise with the Head of Production in agreeing new product functionality, enhancements and assist VRS team in the quotation and pricing process.
" Manage all relationships and client requirements and be a constant point of contact for clients on all projects and produce all necessary project documentation and project plans required for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
" Cover joint projects with staff from the company's sister company and provide support and operational functions in line with gaming products.
" Handle all client queries in an effective and professional manner and deal with the preparation of presentations for prospective clients.
" Deal with invoicing process and co-ordinate the production of assets in business activity when required.
" Liaise with VRS animation, programming and testing resources assigned to the project manager also liaise with key members of staff such as Head of Production, Head of Software, VRS Commercial team and the VRS Managing Director.
" Cover all aspects of production of our products, which involve diverse elements such as Windows-based software development, networked communications, Internet functionality, 3D television quality graphics and 2D design.
Key Skills
" The relevant candidate will be very driven and dynamic individual who will be able to deal with a diverse range of team members and have a strong proven ability within a similar role in technical or IT related project management ideally in bespoke software development and new media environment.
" Interest in working within the betting, gambling, gaming or TV film CGI animation industries would be advantageous.
" Exceptional communication skills and good knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Visio, Microsoft Project.
