The Project Manager is responsible for the development of a project management function within a newly defined business segment. This position will define the project scope, track resources, manage budgets, communicate deliverables, foresee and solve problems.

Specifically, the Project Manager will:

  • Assist Business Development Managers in developing marketing plans for specific product lines.
  • Utilize standard tools/techniques for reporting, tracking, measuring and communicating success or failure of critical milestones of projects
  • Communicate project status, design requirements, and other relevant details to internal and external stakeholders clearly and succinctly
  • Proactively identify issues and promote solutions
  • Prioritize current revenue generating (non-technology development) projects within production
  • Responsible for maintaining company database for relevant product line.
  • Assist in conducting market, customer, competitor and user research
  • Engage with engineering and manufacturing to define successful product release requirements
  • Solicit input from sales and internal sources on relevant product lines issues
  • Quote tracking - win vs. loses; reasons for loss, etc. for key quotes

    Qualifications include:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a four-year technical degree.
    • Project Management certification desirable.
    • Must be willing to travel approximately 10% of the time.
    • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to comply with ITAR requirements.
