Process Improvement Project Manager

 

Lead large-scale interdepartmental projects with a focus on quality improvement, cost reduction and Lean principles. Track expenses to budget and provide solutions to potential overruns. Assists in analyzing business and operating procedures to devise the most efficient methods of accomplishing the work. Works with all levels of staff to research, plan and implement new methods. Monitors progress of ongoing programs and processes.

 

Education: BA/BS in related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Experience: 3+ years direct large scale systems project management experience. Lean/Kaizen implementation experience required.

Retail, logistics and/or production experience preferred.

Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Project Management Professional certificate preferred. _

 

This job will require time away from this position's work site. Travel responsibilities will include visiting store locations, attending offsite meetings and events. Must be able to travel independently to all Seattle Goodwill locations on short notice.
