Job Summary:
Flowserve supports repairs and supplies new pumps and spare parts for the commercial Nuclear Power Industry. This role is an individual contributor. The opportunity is based out of Vernon, CA with a limited amount of travel required to support projects, and customers.
This position provides project support for repairs, refurbishment, new parts and assemblies of pump product for customers in the U.S. domestic nuclear utility market.
Performance standards:
* Act as single point of contact for customers
o Review PO/Contract and perform Order Entry
o Proactively communicate with customer in a timely, professional and clear manner
o Generate timely Customer quotes
* Work with suppliers
o Generate requests for quote
o Generate POs for material/parts
o Assist in expediting parts and suppliers
* Communicate and work with internal customers
o Understand and meet the QA Program requirements
o Update job status
o Lead Phase Gate meetings
o Proactively communicate with management and sales
o Collaborate to establish priorities and forecasts
* Schedule/coordinate customer visits
* Review project/repair history
* Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
* Experience understanding customer specifications, and contract/purchase order review.
* Understanding of manufacturing process and fabrication standards.
* Computer literacy with standard Windows programs.

* Strong technical experience customer-focus.
* Excellent oral written communication skills.
Ability to organize prioritize responsibilities.
* Strong aptitude for Flowserve's 6 C's: Commitment, Collaboration, Creativity, Competence, Confidence, Character.
* Working knowledge of the Flowserve Corporation product line is a plus.
* Experience with 10CFR50AppB and ASME Code QA programs a plus.
* Experience with mechanical pumps a plus.
* Experience reading prints and interpreting dimensional and visual inspections a plus.
