Job Title: Project Manager
JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:
This position is primarily responsible to design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations to improve operational effectiveness. The Project Management Business Analyst will lead a number of key projects for the business unit and company. This position will be the point of contact between business units and IT.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management
• Work directly with key personnel to understand project concept, objectives, and approach
• Take assigned project from original concept through final implementation including: defining project scope and objectives, create and maintain project schedules by developing plans and specifications, conducting project meetings, and providing a single point of contact for assigned projects
• Manage and report on progress against plan and budget
· Business Analysis
• Work closely with business unit leaders to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and business processes
• Review, analyze and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs; including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify
• Coordinate the development of all approved version of business and functional specifications for specified applications
• Analyze the business unit activities and trends and compare against service standards and best practices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, formal training, experience, specialized knowledge, and special skills.)
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required. PMP preferred not required.
· Experience (Job and Industry): Three (3-8) years of related experience
· Experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining operational polices and procedures
· Experience in working in Financial Services
· Experience in the implementation and management of IT systems
· Skills: Extensive personal computer skills in Microsoft Office products required
· Proven project management and leadership skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
