Project Manager – PMO (AVP/VP) recruitment
The key responsibility for this role is to plan, execute, control and close projects according to strict deadlines and within an agreed budget. Other key principles and duties of the role include:
- Understanding and communicating the project’s objectives to all stakeholders and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.
- Coordinate efforts of team members and 3rd party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
- Lead supervision of projects assigned.
- Develop full scale project plans and associated communication documents in coordination with the Head of PMO.
- Plan schedule project timelines, milestones using appropriate tools.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
- MBA with specialisation in Finance
- PMP Certification / other recognised Project Management qualification
- 10-12 years strong project management experience from a Banking Financial Services background.
- Experience of handling large scale Treasury and Risk Management projects
- Experience of managing Murex product implementation as a Project Manager
- Fluency in Arabic is advantageous
