PRoject Manager – Prestigious Asset Manager (Contract role) recruitment
The Opportunity:
• Starting initially as a 5 mth contract role (with a real chance of a contract extension), this is an opportunity to work at a highly respected and innovative asset manager in London, across a number of impending project initiatives
• Working within a small and niche business change function, this role will provide you with great exposure across the business to senior stakeholders, as well as plenty of autonomy and responsibility within high profile project change initiatives
• There are a number of key projects that are high up on the agenda, and these are centred around:
oOTC Regulations and Clearing firm selection
oOEIC Depositary transfer
oCounterparty Exposure reporting
oFATCA
Your Experience:
• You MUST be an experienced Project Manager with extensive buy-side experience
• It is likely that you will have a strong understanding of the investment process from front to back, along with a knowledge of a wide range of asset classes / derivative instruments
• A solid appreciation of the regulatory environment is essential, as well as an understanding of current / forthcoming legislatory changes that are due to come into force e.g. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act
• Ability to lead projects, work with vendors, Business Analysts, IT and business staff
• Knowledge of project methodologies e.g. Prince2 / APMP
• Strong record of academic achievement, combined with recognised financial services qualifications
