Sr. Project Manager - Professional Services - Enterprise Software - Business Critical Software
If you are a hands-on Project Manager with 5 years' Professional Services experience, then read on!
We are a leading supplier of Enterprise Software for production of transactional documents. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as some of the largest print and mail operations in the world!
What you will be doing:
* Assist sales executives and pre-sales engineers define services portion of our solution proposal
* Manage changes to project scope, through a formal change management policy
* Coordinate activities of project team and client from inception through successful completion
* Devise initial project plan, monitor the execution of various activities, and coordinate any changes
* Manage and track resource scheduling, and project time utilization
* Track progress and report status internally and to clients throughout the project life cycle
* Identify, analyze, and respond to project risks as they occur
* Lead quality acceptance activities, for each of the project milestones
* Coordinate transition from Professional Services to on-going Support, at completion of project
* Ensure tasks are constantly updated to reflect actual project status
* Define and participate in the definition of projects standards and best practices
What you need to qualify:
* B.S./M.S in Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
* 5 years' experience managing projects
* Must have a background in professional services in enterprise-grade and business-critical software
* Experience managing Full Lifecycle Solution Delivery projects
* Prior exposure to customer software development, systems integration, product development, etc.
* Ability to prepare and write Statements of Work (SOWs)
* Excellent understanding of IT technologies and components
* Efficient at anticipating problems and initiating corrective action
* Excellent analytical, organizational and communication capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Available for up to 25%-30% travel
