Project Manager recruitment

Key activities include:
* Own, develop and maintain workable project plans to deliver Automation application deployment and Business Services Dashboard.
* Manage the relationship with ITS and business stakeholders to prioritise, schedule and execute adoption.
* Manage a team of technical and business services staff to deliver projects, working with technical and functional architecture teams to ensuring adherence to the clients standards and policies.
* Transition of projects into BAU run organisation.

Key accountabilities:

* Responsible for the project management of Automated Application Deployment and Business Services Dashboard delivery phases.
* Responsible for Trading Functions application migration to new automated deployment standard in 2012.
* Stakeholder management of the business users, application support teams and other ITS stakeholders.
* Manage the relationship with internal and external suppliers to ensure appropriate services are delivered and that these are within agreed SLAs.
* Agree and implement project governance structure.
* Ensuring accurate service requirements are captured and fed into the delivery teams.
* Own, develop and maintain a workable project plans, schedule / cost the work.
* Resource forecasting.
* Proactive problem identification and resolution, raise, monitor and mitigate against risks and issues.
* Agree and transition projects into target operating model.
* Manage KA /KT from project team into BAU organisation.
* Provide weekly status reporting.
* Work with Technical Architect / Functional Architect to develop technical and service adoption road map.
* Prepare collateral for Governance Boards as required.
* Gain budget approvals. Actively manage project budget and report status against budget to project governance board.
* Work with the operations teams to ensure successful delivery, including operational acceptance testing, training and go-live.

Essential experience and job requirements:

* Experience of delivering or managing the delivery of IT services in a global blue chip enterprise.
* Experience working in IT in project management role in medium to large projects in a financial or global trading environment.
* Proven experience of managing teams - directly or indirectly of at least 5 people.
* Experience of managing budgets of at least $5 million and challenging time scales.
* Recognised Project Management qualification i.e Prince 2, PMP.
* Experience of stakeholder engagement and is able to develop strong working relationship with senior management, business users and peers.
* Experience of working in demanding delivery focused user and software development environments.
* Have rigorous attention to detail and apply standards thoroughly.
* Be highly self motivated and delivery focused.
* Strong documentation and process skills.
* Track record identifying innovative, evolutionary revolutionary opportunities for improvement
