Change also manages smaller change initiatives whilst ensuring appropriate business and technology operating models are designed, agreed and implemented. Our Change functions also have responsibility for creating and fostering a climate of continuous improvement in initiating and delivering projects, striving for excellence and contributing to the overall development of the RBS Group strategy.
Our Business Commercial Banking business supports over 1.3 million customers and is unique in the UK banking sector as we provide the complete SME solution under one roof, from start up businesses to medium size enterprises turning over £25 million per annum. We have a large portfolio of change programmes to deliver our customer promise across a range of areas such as Account Opening, Customer Propositions, Operational Excellence and the Digital, Telephony and Branch Channels and we're looking for individuals with a pioneering spirit, good commercial experience and a drive to succeed.
As Project Manager, you'll manage projects of medium size and complexity within the programme portfolio along with managing a team of Senior Business Analysts and / or allocated business resource. You'll work for a Programme Manager or for a Junior Delivery Lead, with limited supervision. You will provide project management expertise along with leading key project work streams, working with the full project life cycle, following project governance processes whilst identifying interdependent projects and ensuring these are clearly understood and managed.
To be successful in this Project Manager role, it's essential that you have significant change management experience and have previously managed project lifecycle planning and delivery of projects. As a Project Manager you'll have a track record of benefits delivery as well as managing and controlling costs to a budget successfully. It's also essential that you've managed and developed a team of staff including selection, coaching, training, development and performance appraisal.
