We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager / Project Director with a background leading clinical trials (Phase II and III) in Infectious Disease, CNS, Oncology, Pain and Respiratory. This position ideally will be office based at any of our US locations in Raleigh, NC, Horsham, PA, Charlottesville, VA, Lenexa, KS, and San Diego, CA, but depending on the candidate, it can be regionally home based.
Individuals selected for these positions will schedule and supervise clinical projects with PRA, provide leadership in the delivery of services to clients; review work produced by project teams; ensure staff fulfills their responsibilities in accordance with project contracts and PRA policies, procedures and SOP’s. They will also be responsible for taking a lead role in the day-today management of major studies; ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to client expectations.
Successful candidates must at minimum, possess an undergraduate degree in a clinical or health related field: advanced degree preferred, along with a minimum 3-5 years experience as a Clinical Project Manager with a CRO or Pharmaceutical company. This position also requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling, managing resources and budgets and coordinating team activities, as well as experience with the full clinical development process through regulatory submissions. This position requires candidates to be detailed-oriented, computer proficient in a Windows environment and possess superior interpersonal and organizational skills.
