Project Manager Systems Design & Development recruitment

*Direct/lead technical and/or business analysis, design and development of new and reengineered applications, or the development of system modifications to address business needs.

*Direct/lead technical and/or business analysis, design and development , testing of new and reengineered applications, or the development of system modifications to address business needs with responsibility for all systems issues within a single cost center, usually for 1 - 2 smaller systems, or a single medium to large
system.

*Plan and direct the activities of a project team of 2 or more technical employees. Manage one or more
project teams of employees, consultants, and/or fixed price staff.

*Communicate with technical peers, such as database designers, Business Systems Analysts,
business/user group and MISOs. Act as the liaison between a specific application group and other parties.

*Review business requirement documents produced by the BSAs for completeness and accuracy.

*Ensure the Architecture guidelines have been followed in the design and specifications are prepared within one application and adhere to systems development lifecycle.

*Conduct testing in conjunction with the QA team in testing.

*Participate in employee evaluations by monitoring subordinates performance and providing management with feedback for employee evaluations.

Implement the program management infrastructure; includes management processes, plans, procedures, tools:

* Set the overall direction for projects
* Oversee initiative and project plans
* Measure and monitor project progress
* Track project interdependencies to ensure successful delivery of solution
* Conduct initiative reporting (planned and ad hoc)
* Track risks for all projects under the initiative
* Assist in the creation of project charters and business cases
* Initiate coordination of issues and risks log, status reports, Steering Committee presentations
* Partners with peers when coordinating initiatives across functional areas; secures the involvement and participation of other IT teams, as needed, to deliver high quality application solutions and support
* Works well with vendors team members and performs duties in a professional manner.
