IT PROJECT MANAGER – TRANSFER AGENCY / ASSET SERVICING - FUND MANAGER - LONDON
ROLE OVERVIEW
A buy side IT Project Manager with Transfer Agency or Asset Servicing experience is required by a leading global Fund Management company.
The company has embarked on a programme of change that will transform its EMEA Transfer Agency business including standardising onto a single TA platform. This new role will involve managing software development projects for both the existing systems and the new systems being constructed.
The successful candidate will manage projects from inception through to end of warranty, and will manage project resources from a team of approximately 130 developers and support staff organised into several distinct teams and distributed across a number of locations. The systems are a mix of in-house developed, vendor developed and ASP deployed and utilise a number of underlying technologies including DB2, IMS, PL/1, Java, Websphere, Oracle, Visual Basic and SQL Server.
REQUIRED
• Custodian / Fund Management / Asset Management experience
• Strong IT Project Management experience
• Good experience with either Transfer Agency or Asset Servicing
• Fantastic communication skills
• Good education (ideally 2:1 or above from reputable university)
