As a Project Manager in the Card Services Project Management Office you will be involved in developing and executing projects in support of the Commercial Card Product strategies. The Project Manager has responsibility to monitor the details and status of projects, prepare standard and ad-hoc updates and reports, identify and resolve project issues, effectively escalate decisions and issues and establish standards that ensure milestones are met, projects are successfully executed and stated benefits are realized. Core responsibilities of the Project Manager are organizing, directing, managing, controlling and executing activities across multiple projects ranging from small to large in scope and complexity.
Core responsibilities of this position include:Effective management of and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within the approved budget, and within stated strategic and business goals and objectivesManage all aspects of the project from Concept through Post-Implementation in accordance with corporate and LOB guidelines methodologiesWork closely with the business for assigned initiatives, with a focus on Sales and Marketing activitiesProduce/monitor detailed implementation plan including roles, responsibilities and milestonesDevelop and manage the project schedule and tasksIdentify and manage risks/ issues and resource conflicts that impact progress against deliverablesEffectively manage project scope changes, functioning as an escalation point to ensure impact is communicated and approvedIdentify and engage cross-impacted business unitsFacilitate meetings at the operational and project level, providing continuous feedback on project status offering constructive options to ensure project tracks to original expectationsDevelop/maintain productive working relationships with project sponsors and key business partnersCoordinate "Change Readiness" activities (communications, marketing, training)Monitor any required post-implementation activities

Qualifications
To qualify for this role we require
extensive direct experience in the following areas and skill sets:Proven project management skills with some exposure to strategic planningExperience with large/complex project management using varying disciplines and techniquesExperience in status reporting (project status, risks, issues, change controls, action items)Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict-resolution, motivation and communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Power PointStrong analytical skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to multi-taskAbility to bridge communication with business, operations, and technology
