Project Manager x2 Job in Surrey, Home Counties UK
My client, a leading media publishing organisation, is looking for an experienced infrastructure project manager to lead the delivery of two high profile projects aligned to the overarching strategy to utilise cloud- based services. These projects incorporate Office 365 and the hosting / migration of data center services.
The role of the successful candidate will be to represent the business by working with the Technical Leads and Technical delivery teams to manage the project through its full lifecycle, and to ensure the agreed business benefits are realised. This will begin with the creation of a project plan, the design and development of a full cost model and also creation and delivery of the project initiation presentation. The initial phases of these projects will require the build of a test environment, with full and rigorous testing compliance.
Reporting into the Head of Project Management, the successful candidates must have strong, demonstrable, stakeholder management engagement skills, being able to engage with individuals from the Senior Management Team to Technical Delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will have:
- An established track record of successful project delivery
- Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure related projects
- A sound knowledge of IT/Technology infrastructure
- Strong business acumen and financial skills
- Proven delivery within a large organisation utilising matrix project delivery
- A high level of cultural awareness and degree of emotional intelligence
