Project Manager/Support Job in South East England, Southern Uk

My client, a Local Authority based in the South is looking to engage a Project Manager/Officer to support them to deliver a public consultation within their Social Services Directorate.

In this position you will play a key role in organising the programme of consultation meetings and co-ordinating/chairing them, fielding questions that arise and ensuring that all notes/meeting outcomes and action points are recorded and collated.

You will deal with resulting correspondence of the consultation meetings ensuring that it is answered in an appropriate and timely manner. As a support to the project sponsor you will be responsible for collating all responses from the consultation, whether this be in the form of letters/meetings/resplies to questionnaires. This information will then be used to inform recommendations made to the Council's Cabinet.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience of working as part of a public consultation and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also have experience of leading/chairing meetings.
