Project Technical Leader Job in Birmingham, Midlands UK
My Client who is a global consultancy in the wet infrastructure sector are looking to recruit a Project Technical Engineer (water supply schemes ) to join their team in the midlands area. The schemes will include collection. storage, pipeline and pumping and treatment works.
The Role -
The main purpose of the role would be to supervise a team of technicians and engineers with the production of feasibility studies and specifications and technical reports
* You will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Monitor work progress
* Work with the design manager to develop work schedules and breakdowns
* To ensure that the correct skills are applied to the right projects
* Quality Assurance checks on drawings and documents
* Drive project delivery
* Maintain communication lines with all relevant parties
The Person -
* Knowledge of the water industry
* Chartered Engineer
* Background in delivering projects
* Be able to supervise a small team
* Be able to co ordinate complex projects
* the successful candidate will be able to estimate work required in order to complete the tasks
* Strong communicator
