Property Account Executive
Full Job Description
Our client is currently looking for an Account Executive to join their busy Commercial Property team to provide account services for an allocated portfolio of clients.
Your main duties will typically be to:
- Proactively manage a portfolio of existing and new clients;
- Develop the portfolio by undertaking new business - transfers from other Executives;
- Actively manage personal Diary;
- Achieve agreed retention-income levels;
- Act as the day to day contact for Commercial-Corporate clients;
- Act as a point of referral for more junior colleagues;
- Cross-Up Sell risk management services to existing and new clients;
- Provide accurate MI data for managers-directors;
The specific duties of this role will be dependent upon candidate experience.
- A thorough understanding of the broking process.
- A thorough knowledge of corporate property insurance including businessowners,equipment breakdown, general liability, employers liability, public and products liability, motor, engineering and HNW personal accident covers.
- A good understanding of insurer rating methods for each class of insurance.
- A thorough knowledge of FSA regulations and guidelines relating to both commercial and retail customers.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
- Ability to identify opportunities for business development.
- Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.
