Property Claims Manager

Full Job Description

The main purpose of Role is to manage and co-ordinate the Claims function to meet business centre objectives, optimise use of resources and ensure customer satisfaction to achieve sustained and a profitable business growth.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Promote effective and prompt settlement of claims.
- Contribute towards overall strategy and link to the setting of standards and targets for all claims handlers.
- Manage and co-ordinate resource to optimise performance, secure business objectives.
- Provide customers with first class claims service.
- Directly and indirectly investigate and negotiate claims.
- Pro-active approach to managing change and ability to identify market opportunities.
- Resolve, using business awareness, complex technical and contentious claims queries.
- Ensure adherence to all governance related matters.
- Manage and undertake ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
- People development: Advise and coach others as appropriate.
