Proprietary Trading course
You will receive a comprehensive foundation in financial markets, learning about multiple asset classes and the pricing of derivative and cash products. Following this you will be taught to analyse equity, bond, commodity and FX markets using Technical Analysis tools whilst taking the current Macroeconomic situation into account. As the 4 week course progresses so will the exposure to live market data and streaming news feeds. These sessions are designed to become increasingly self-guided as you acquire the skills to read markets and react to economic events.
The ability to absorb an abundance of information, news and research is an integral part of a trader’s job – this intensive training is a reflection of that and participants should expect to be challenged. You will be exposed to large amounts of information, and quickly expected to participate in discussion of economic events and market activity. Our approach is very hands-on, and you will soon find yourself making trading decisions from what you learn.
You will not only gain an excellent grounding in the skills required to trade profitably, but also be able to talk with confidence about the financial markets and global economy – valuable abilities whatever your trading and career goals are. When trading, you will have access to industry standard execution platforms and data/charting services – as used by investment bank dealing desks. The course runs at our Liverpool Street offices.
