Position Summary

This position provides hygiene, comfort, and safety needs to assigned patients of all ages, under the direct supervision of a RN. He/She may conduct psycho educational and symptom management patient groups.

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
High School diploma or GED. Patient Care Tech training or equivalent training with proof of completion. Six months experience as a clinical assistant or patient care assistant.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Emotionally mature, uses sound judgment; Ability to make decisions calmly and quickly. Agility to intervene with aggressive patients. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products. Demonstrated ability to organize/coordinate activities/groups.

KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
1-2 yrs previous experience in health care crisis intervention program
