Purchase Ledger Clerk Job in Sheffield, Yorkshire Uk

Our client is an international service based business located in Sheffield.

As a result of internal promotion they are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a large team on a full time permanent basis.

Your day to day duties will include:-

Processing payments by BACS and cheque.
Matching and coding high volume invoices.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure invoices are received on time.
Producing aged creditor reports.
Maintaining the PO system and issuing PO numbers.
Resolving all queries through to resolution.
Maintaining financial liabilities and relationships with suppliers.
To provide cover to the Accounts department and assist Manager with any other duties as requested.

The ideal candidate needs to be confident, self motivated and to work well within a team with people at all levels. Purchase Ledger experience is essential, candidates without will not be considered.
