You will purchase all domestic logistics services in categories warehousing and transportation for our Business Unit Adhesives in Germany under compliance of regional and global logistics category strategies.
You will contribute to the global sourcing strategy for Sea, Air and CEP Services as Category team member, securing best in class sourcing approaches and effective knowledge sharing between the regions as well as the category and local organization.
Delivering of excellent sourcing for domestic logistics services in an efficient and compliant way resulting into competitive pricing and an appropriate reliable supply base will be also in your area of competency.
You will be the first local purchasing contact for the internal requester / Supply Chain department of Adhesives Germany.
One of your tasks will be negotiating prices, terms and conditions with incumbent and new service providers, as well as researching and maintaining market and supplier information in your area of responsibility in order to achieve both tariff improvements and reliable price forecasting for business planning.
As an expert for Europe within the category of Sea, Air and CEP services, where you will communicate the category strategy into the region and work with the local purchasers to understand the domestic specialities and logistics demand profile for the Category as well as best practices.
Additionally, you will manage the global suppliers of this category.

You have an excellent university degree in Business Administration, (Industrial) Engineering, Procurement, Logistics or similar.
Ideally, you have a professional experience of 2 to 5 years within the area of Supply Chain Management, Logistics and/or Purchasing.
Good knowledge of logistics market in Europe with special focus on Germany is required by this position.
Your negotiation and convincing capabilities as well as analytical and conceptual skills should be clear personal strengths.
You must have proven ability to work in a challenging yet dynamic international environment, driving ideas forward to create profitable business growth.
As a team player, you communicate with internal and external partners effectively and convince by your results.
You are fluent in German and English.
The position requires good communication and persuasiveness skills.
Excellent computer skills (SAP BW and MS Office) is also one of your strenghts.
