Python Support / Developer recruitment
City based Financial Service Firm seek a Python Support / Developer for their Compliance Technology Team. You will have a solid background support Python with the ability to build code and scripts for database queries. Strong knowledge of SQL, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server on a Windows server. Any knowledge of Excel, Visual Studio, C# and Visual Basic is advantageous. The role involves working within the compliance team, and closely with the trading, technology, clearing, and finance departments to assist with: Implementing compliance programs. Creating, review, and monitor surveillance reports. Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving systems for monitoring, surveillance and reporting. Ensuring successful operation of important daily processes. Assisting with conducting compliance monitoring. Assisting with data-gathering and analysis for internal and external requests for information. You will have an Analytical Mindset with the ability to conduct statistical analysis and to manage numerous priorities with ease. As this is a small office you MUST be able to relate/communicate effectively to all levels of associates - management, developers, traders, and operations. Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work as part of a hands-on, performance-driven team
