Long term contingent assignment; immediate need is to help the Project Leaders complete gathering of their business requirements and eventually move forward with the testing phase. This client has two openings: one QA/UAT Tester and one Business Analyst. Both are low-to-mid level positions requiring 4 yr degrees and 2+ yrs recent relevant experience. Automotive industry is highly preferred.

QA/UAT Tester Position Details:

  • Develop test strategy based on user requirements and design spec's for major project initiatives

  • Create and execute non functional and functional test scripts and test plans

  • Monitor, evaluate and document test results in a clear and concise format

  • Track and maintain test summaries and log defects using a defect tracking tool

  • Document programming change requests for major project initiatives

  • Run queries, perform analysis on data for custom reporting.

  • Provide end user support on system post implementation issues, enhancements and change requests

  • Research and troubleshoot system issues reported by business users

  • Additional tasks will include submitting and supporting tickets to the helpdesk providing assistance with clerical and administrative work for system requests.

    • Requirements:

  • BS or BA

  • Minimum of 2 years recent working experience as a QA Tester; UAT is preferred

  • Proficient in creating and executing test plans and test scripts.

  • Data Analysis skills; including SQL data extraction, MS Excel data analysis and manipulation

  • Experience testing applications on mobile devices is a plus

  • Experience in an automotive industry is highly preferred

  • Soft Skills needed: Must be detail oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Multi-tasker.

  • Must have the ability to work well in a team environment and establish close working relationships with business area clients.

  • Advanced user/Proficient in MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Visio, MS SharePoint. MS Project is a plus.
