Job Summary:

 

The QA/QC Specialist performs field quality and safety-based inspections, reporting and process improvement implementation functions. The Quality Specialist works in coordination with the Quality and Safety functions.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Perform safety and/or quality inspections and submit reports weekly/daily to management. 

Communicate, report and coordinate with customers and personnel at all levels regarding safety and quality issues.

Assist with training employees, typically on a work site, on safety and quality practices.

Obtain and/or maintain various job-related certifications to help access quality in the field.

Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).

Neat and professional appearance/pleasant personality

Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.

Must possess proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).

Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.

Must be able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.

Must have the ability to lift 50lbs and move 70lbs when needed.

Must have adequate mobility to walk, climb ladders, bend and crawl.

Must be able to distinguish colors correctly and perform inspection functions.

 

 

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:

Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency

Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.

Must possess a minimum of one (2) year of field experience.

Quality inspection and training experience desired.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Email.

Must meet Company minimum driving standards.

Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
