QlikView & Data Warehouse System Administrator Job in Naples 34102, Florida US
InfiLaw, a Naples, FL-based, national consortium of independent law schools, is seeking a QlikView and Data Warehouse System Administrator to join our Information Technology team. The desired competencies for this position include significant database administration experience, requirements gathering experience, basic knowledge of data modeling, and strong QlikView development and user/document administration skills. Hyperion or similar experience is also desired. In addition, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment, and the business/technical cross-understanding to effectively assess internal customer needs, identify problems and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage the data warehouse including data mining and loading, general administrative functions, and database maintenance activities
- Perform enhancements to existing QlikView dashboards and develop new QlikView applications
- Maintain permissions, schedule reloads, and check logs in QlikView Server
- Understand current SQL Server data structure and have the ability to pull new data points
- Perform standard maintenance and querying tasks on the SQL Server data warehouse
- Aid in the development of new metrics
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in a technology discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in QlikView development and administration
- At least 2 years in database administration (SQL Server experience preferred)
- QlikView certification preferred
- Experience in higher education or academic/legal environment highly desired
Skills:
- QlikView script development, document design, user administration, and server administration
- Knowledge of SQL and SQL Server
- Hyperion or similar experience desired
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task and follow through on projects from start to finish
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact productively and positively with staff across the organization
- Perform clerical and data processing duties specific to area of assignment
· Ability to work in a multi-location environment
