Quality Assurance Analyst Job in Seattle 98104, Washington Us

Reviewing independant medical exam reports and addenda in a comprehensive and timely manner.  The Q.A. Analyst will assess each report in order of assigned priority immediately after reports are transcribed to find any problems that need addressing (i.e. missing dictation, testing needed but not ordered, etc..  The Analyst reads each report for copy and content, making sure that the purpose of the medical exam has been addressed and each question is answered by the physician.

To ensure customer satisfaction by communicating with customers regarding the status of their reports.  This is accomplished by: 1) sending an assessment email or call to the claims manager/attorney within a day of the scheduled evaluation; 2) notifying the customers immediately whenever there is a delay or need for additional records, testing, etc.; 3) communicate weekly with clients regarding status of pending reports; 4) sending the final report by email or fax before hard copy is mailed by billing; and 5) maintaining HIPPA compliant security measures by using passwords and sending secure documents that protect the claimants’ privacy.

To communicate with physicians regarding their reports by: 1) sending drafts to physicians; 2) sending drafts for clarifications to physicians as needed; and 3) communicate weekly with physicians regarding pending reports.

Qualifications:

i)        Required -Basic computer experience with Word! and Adobe

ii)      Required-Excellent command of written and spoken English

iii)     Required-College degree

iv)    Desired-Knowledge of basic medical terminology

v)      Desired-Experience working with physicians

vi)    Desired-Claims experience in either casualty or workers’ compensation
