The Company
Our client is a leading retailer who is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join their growing team.
The Role
Reporting to the Head, your main duties will be to develop and deploy the firm's testing strategy where you will be working closely with the project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for any quality assurance related activities. Moreover, you will ensure the software meets the quality standards and performance objectives within a timely manner and targeted budgets. Also you will provide quality and technical guidance to perform system and business acceptance testing. Inspecting, test application and systems at various stages in the project process will be executed daily along with establishing testing procedures and having this communicated to all parties involved. Furthermore, you will be responsible for setting up test scenarios and test scripts in HPQC and documenting test results. As the manger you will manage the planning and execution of testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates; perform load testing through partnering with vendor via corporate testing tool; implement ongoing quality improvement processes by working with business and developing quality assurance metrics for all test phases.
Your Profile
To be considered you will have solid people skills and be result-oriented, dynamic, resourceful, multi-tasked. Excellent communication skills is a must as you will be liaising with people from different levels. A Strong business acumen and the ability to work both independently and in a team with initiatives is important too. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is important. Mandarin is an advantage. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
