Quality Control Technician / FTS1086
Position Description:
FTS USA is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician. The Quality Control Technician ensures the quality of service performed for customers by inspecting work completed by the field technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Inspect the work performed by our technicians
• Grade the work performed and report to PM or supervisor
• Give recommendations for improved performance based on the work inspected
• Complete Quality Control forms as necessary and submit
• Perform real time inspections evaluating safety, appearance and customer experience
• Truck Inspections
• Perform Job Site Observations
• Install, upgrade and repair cable products
• Service and trouble-shoot cable products
• Handle all customer complaints, questions and develop solutions
• Responsible for completing work orders and retrieving proper signatures for accurate billing
• Ensure all installation work is done according to quality standards
• Report to dispatch according to company procedures
• Assist with work overflow
• Follow all company policy and procedures
• Adhere to safety policy

• 2 years of cable television (CATV) installation experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience mentoring or coaching technicians
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Results driven and goal oriented
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction from executive team
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, MVR background check)
