Ability to Obtain Interim Clearance (Pre-Start) and Final Clearance (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required about security clearance definitions Position Description This position is for a Quality Engineering professional responsible for developing and supporting processes and systems that ensure the quality of Weapons, Air and Missile Defense programs. Electrical, Electronic and Radio Frequency (RF) experience and or education is desirable. Researches and integrates contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes and conducts capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs data analysis and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compiles performance reports, performs benchmarking, and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general supervision. Typical Education/Experience Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years experience or a Master's degree with experience. Other Job related information This position is a second shift position and requires the ability to obtain interim clearance pre-start. REQUIRED: This person will need to have software tool and applications experience for use in creating reports, presentations and metrics that best fit business requirements. PREFERRED: Electrical, Electronic and Radio Frequency (RF) experience and or education. American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications in related areas of certified quality engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) and/or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
