Quality Engineer

Role:

To support the Quality Department with all day to day compliance, auditing and reporting activities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal audits
• Support second party and external audits,
• Produce audit reports
• Record all Audits and findings within Audit Database
• Update Audit Plans
• Record and track Corrective and Preventive action requests within CA6 Database.
• Analyse data from suppliers and support production of statistical analysis.
• Draft supplier escapes and track actions to closure.
• Record receipt of customer complaints and returns.
• Attend Quality Assurance Meetings
• Arrange support for external auditors
• Support quality investigations
• Support new process requirements
• Raise Internal NCRs (Internal process faults) as requested
• Review new contract requirements for input as requested
• Support Quality Management Reviews
• Conduct technical queries reviews and liaise appropriately
• Cover for Line Manager as required
• Support risk database updates as required by Risk Manager
• Review Fault Reports F760s arrange scan and submitted originals to AAR
• Attend Technical Working Group as required
• Support review of Concession requests received by Subcontractors

Required Skills:
• Qualification as a Quality Engineer in an Aircraft Maintenance Environment preferred
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Standards.
• Relevant experience of internal auditing.
• Confident and articulate oral and written communicator
• Previous experience in Aircraft Engineering
• Excellent proficiency with MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of Sentry (E-3D) AEW MK1
• Applicants will be subject to security clearance

Education:

• Recognised Aircraft Engineering Qualification i.e Apprenticeship / Diploma or equivalent
• Holder of a recognised Auditing Qualification
