Quality Engineer
Location: Kent
We are recruiting for this fantastic opportunity - an experienced Quality Engineer is required to join a highly professional team. Candidates will need to be security cleared or ideally will already hold a valid security clearance (SC or above).
Candidates will need to have:
• Possess significant and appropriate experience in the Mechanical Industry.
• Experience in the Nuclear Power Generation Sector is preferable.
• Hold a Safety passport or IOSH certificate.
• Hold a CSWIP / PCN 3.1 Welding Inspector and Internal auditor's ticket (this is beneficial but not necessary).
• Knowledge and understanding of BS 2633, BS 1113 BS806 would be advantageous.
• Be able to interpret engineering drawings.
• Be able to interpret technical specifications.
The role:
Has to be able to establish, maintain and effectively administer a Contract/Outage/Project Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure site works and sub-contract achieves and complies with Customer requirements in line with company policies and procedures.
