Quality Engineer

Our client are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work in there busy manufacturing department. The role will be to raise non-conformance reports against deviations to drawing and Final Inspection pass off.

 

THE SALARY/RATE/BENEFITS

Quality Engineer

£22-£25 per hour

6 month contract initially

37.5 hours per week + overtime when available

 

THE CANDIDATE

Quality Engineer

Essential Skills:

·         Must be able to read and interpret complex drawing and plans

·         Able to use complex first principle measurement tools and techniques

·         Turbine or compressor experience

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Excellent inspection skills

·         A good eye for detail

·         A time served engineering apprenticeship or degree qualified

·         Able to provide technical reports

 

THE ROLE

Quality Engineer

The day to day tasks for the role will be to inspect Compressor Blades and other Turbine components using first principle measurement tools and techniques. The Quality Engineer will then be required to flag up non-conformance and raise necessary reports.
