About the Job
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with national international standards legislation
- System process maintenance of ISO14001 ISO9001 system
- Maintain EMS QMS manuals/documents obtain, maintain current environmental legislation
- Prepare attend external audits assist states in preparation of external audits
- Review all internal audits nationally for trends ISO compliance
- Set up maintain document procedures
- Co-ordinate training for relevant QMS/EMS representatives in each state provide resources for staff development
- Respond to QMS/EMS issues for tenders various client requests
- Work with consultant to implement, maintain improve the EMS
- Communicate to all department managers their requirements prior to external audits
- Identifying training needs for Internal auditors maintain conduct Internal audits
- Review of management reviews to ensure compliance with certification Identify any open or overdue corrective action requests
- Update trend analysis of action requests continuous Improvement Log
- Assist department managers in drafting quality procedures and setting quality objectives, monitoring the effectiveness of the quality system
Competencies and skills required:
- Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards
- Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems
- Excellent communication skills, highly service orientated advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel etc)
Qualifications and experience required:
- Minimum 3 years Quality Management experience within Freight Forwarding Logistics industry
- Equivalent combination of education experience
