RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quality Systems Engineering (QSE) Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manage a team consisting of a quality systems engineers that maintain NVIDIAs quality management system (QMS). The team is responsible for :
* managing key activities such as calibration,
* corrective and preventive action request (CPAR)
* shipment waivers and risk release waivers
* certificate of compliance, process
* product change notification (PCN)
* change review board (CRB)
* QMS training
- The QSE manager needs to review key performance indicators (KPIs) for the listed QMS processes, work on issues and escalations, determines improvement opportunities with current processes, define objectives and deliverables, and ensure the QSE team is strategically aligned with the corporate policies and objectives.
- Perform a periodic review of QMS related procedures and processes for changes and continuous improvement.
- Manage the customer restriction system by working closely with planners, sales and logistics, and implementing the restriction through the SAP system. Also needs to maintain the pre p-release restriction of all part numbers released by marketing and sales through the SPNR system to ensure customers only receive qualified products.
- Manage the ISO program in NVIDIA by maintaining the internal audit process, organizing management reviews and review of ISO related procedures and processes to prepare the company for the annual ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits
- Assist other functions to develop procedures that prevent process or product issues and to drive a reduction in customer complaints.
- Drive special projects (re-engineering existing processes or creating a new process entirely) working in a team environment with other functional leaders, creating procedures, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of SAP, Winchill, Salesforce and/or pertinent NVIDIA systems
- Data Analysis tools (excel, jump, access)
- In-depth understanding of statistical process control methodology
- ISO 9000, 14000 and/or TS 16949
- Project management skills (Gantt charts, MS project)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of employees. Will be dealing with upper management, up to the executive level.
- BS/BA in engineering, business management or equivalent experience
- 10-15 years of experience in an electronic device environment, preferably 3-5 years in a management level
- Semiconductor manufacturing and/or quality experience desired
- Some travel required to audit remote sites and suppliers
