An international designer, manufacturer and supplier of specialised equipment and services to the coal mining and materials handling industries, our client delivers high quality, innovative solutions for all types of mining, transportation, bulk materials handling, loading and drilling activities.
In line with business growth and demand the Quality Systems Manager will be lead the development, implementation and maintenance of quality control systems and procedures across the group.
In order to meet strict commercial imperatives, a key objective of the role will be to
Implement quality systems such as ISO 9001 introducing systems process and structure around Quality Management, and very structured document management systems.
You will be highly visible in the business coaching managers on the concept and benefits of quality systems management and procedures and be able to influence various stakeholders across the group requiring occasional travel across NSW, QLD and WA.
As a true leader you will be adept at leading and managing change through a diverse manufacturing workforce, you will demonstrate experience in the construction and application of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and be familiar conducting regular quality audits and associated reporting.
Reporting to the Group EHS Manager, you will possess tertiary qualifications in engineering, quality or related area have advanced MS Office skills, be flexible and willing to travel away from home occasionally and be a self driven, professional, highly organised individual prepared to influence the future success of this international, multi-million dollar business.
