Quantitative Researcher – Healthcare Sector – New York City recruitment
An Equity Quantitative Analyst with Healthcare Research experience is currently being hired at a buy side firm in New York City.
This is an expansion hire and you will be joining an established quantitative research team, leading the healthcare research efforts. You will be responsible for building models to evaluate pharmaceutical and biotech companies, analyzing performance of investment strategies and making internal recommendations based on your research and modeling. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience conducting equity quantitative research within the healthcare sector with programming skills in Matlab, C++ or R.
Requirements:
-2-5 years experience working in Healthcare research ideally with a focus on pharmaceuticals, biotech or medical devices
-Masters, PhD or MD in a quantitative, healthcare or life sciences field
-Programming skills in Matlab, SQL, R, C++ or similar
-Sell side research experience is strongly preferred.
