Rates Financial Controller – Financial Control Leading Investment Bank recruitment
Leading Investment Bank are looking for a rates Financial Controller, you will execute effective financial control over Rates business, and to work closely with the Financial Control Managers to shape and drive the strategic and tactical streams of control and efficiency initiatives, including system enhancements and user acceptance testing.
You will ensure the accuracy of the books records for the Rates business across the bank, ensuring the provision of accurate regulatory information consistent with financials reported, Implementing new procedures for new product lines and structured transactions and ensuring all cash and position reconciliations are performed accurately and on a timely basis
Performance of month end financial close processes for selected structured business profit centres including; Posting and reporting of balances in the ledger and reconciliation production and tie out of financials with Management Information System (MIS) and follow up of any differences with key stakeholders.
Would be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA) with in-depth financial control experience within an Investment Banking. Will have a strong control focus and able to demonstrate a history of business process re-engineering across a range of areas, as you will work closely with projects and strategic realignment across the group, performing user acceptance testing as facing off to Business Analyst / Project Managers.
