Real Estate Analyst
This global financial services organisation provides advisory services predominantly to real estate and infrastructure. With locations across six continents, the company is a well recognised brand name, and continues to grow within the Australian landscape.
The real estate team is looking to hire an analyst. Key responsibilities include development of financial models, conducting company and industry research, pitch presentation, presentation of ideas to senior management, due diligence, assisting with the funding process. The company advises on all facets of the capital structure, from equity to debt, and covers a wide range of transactions including but not restricted to MA advisory, capital raising, development finance, refinancings, private placements and restructurings.
Ideally you will have a degree in finance, commerce or engineering. Additionally you will have approximately 3-4 years experience in either principal investing, funds management, debt finance, corporate development or investment banking. Experience within property will be highly regarded, though is not essential. If you do not have property experience, you will have an interest in it. It is essential you think like an investor. Your understanding of financial structures and instruments will be second to none, and you will be able to apply a variety of valuation methodologies to the transactions.
