~~~VP/ED Credit Risk

Working for one of the worlds leading brokerage firms, this role will involve the analysis of corporate counterparties to identify and quantify risk drivers in transaction structures. You will also prepare credit memos, make recommendations and manage counterparty exposure.

Responsibilities include, the analysis and preparation of credit memos for corporates with the aim to recommend accurate credit risk ratings and approve exposures. You will analyse credit risks in loans and derivative trades for transaction approval and counterparty portfolio assessment. Furthermore, you will analyse economic and market events and their impact on the portfolio of counterparties managed and liaise with clients, internal business units on credit approvals, credit requirements and relationship matters.

You will also be required to follow up on transaction execution. Ensure loans/trades are properly booked / recorded / monitored, credit terms are incorporated in termsheets / confirmations and underlying documentation properly developed. Your responsibility will also encompass the management of counterparty limits and credit facilities exposures

You need to follow up on timely receipt of financial information from all clients and prepare credit memos according to firm policy requirements and ensure risk reporting systems contain timely and accurate information

You need to have extensive experience in credit analysis and be familiar with financial markets, financing and risk mitigating structures. You must possess excellent product knowledge e.g. leveraged loans, swaps, FX, equities and have familiarity with legal documentation and risk issues, including LMA loan documentations, ISDAs, CSAs, netting, and credit mitigating features.
