About my client:
My is a group of companies created to provide a full range of investment management for portfolios acquired by a Global Real Estate Private Equity firm. These portfolios vary by asset type from unsecured consumer loan, over residential mortgage backed to commercial backed loan portfolios or direct real estate investments and are located across Europe.
The Company’s aim is to ultimately maximise the returns to the funds and make the investments successful.
The investment management team oversees the serviced investments by providing two main functions which are (i) the forecast and modelling of the expected investment cash flow and (ii) the development of business plans or servicing measures together with loan or real estate asset management. Besides this, investment management is also mainly responsible for the IPDs of the relevant portfolios. The main target of the team is to ensure an effective portfolio servicing and the maximization of the profit from the serviced portfolios.
The work in the investment management team requires both an excellent analytical skill set as well as relevant business knowledge to derive the correct conclusions based on quantitative and qualitative findings.
Key Responsibilities of the Team:
• Taking overall control of, and maximizing the return from, investments managed by the Company and its subsidiaries;
• Support the team on defining, implementing and continuously updating the business plan for each portfolio of loans managed by the Company and its subsidiaries, analysing the economics of resolution and performing performance calculations;
• Working closely with, and providing analytic support to, the Loan Asset Management and Real Estate teams as required
• Working closely with the Finance team to provide all investor and internal reporting
The Candidate:
A bright and analytically minded junior associate with excellent Educational background, preferably with a Masters degree (MBA preferred) in a Finance related discipline.
An interest in Real Estate and experience in the sector.
Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
Fund reporting experience.
