Receptionist Job in Colchester, Home Counties UK

Our client, a the UK's largest quarrying company and supplier of construction materials is currently recruiting for a temporary receptionist to join their team based in Stanway, Colchester.

You will provide an efficient service to the company's South East region, supporting the business ensuring best working practices are followed at all times. Supporting the Business Administration Manager to ensure all administration processes are completed accurately and within the required time scales.
Key Duties:
* Support the business admin function in providing a quality administration service
* Create purchase requisitions to support local office ensuring quality information is supplied to the PO creators.
* Interact with suppliers in the processing of purchase card information and reconciliations.
* Switchboard role. Handling calls professionally /greeting visitors.
* Supporting switchboard infrastructure as instructed by senior receptionist.
* Postal duties and facilities administration. Franking machine top ups arranging couriers etc.
* Undertake ad-hoc project work and tasks as and when required.
* Booking meeting rooms and coordinating any additional requirements

The successful candidate will have previous reception/ switchboard experience and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will be highly organised and work well as part of a team or independently using own initiative. This is a temporary role for 8-10 weeks working 27.5 hours a week.
