Our clients include central banks, official institutions, corporations, pension plans, insurance companies, foundations, endowments, and mutual funds. In the U.S. we have offices in Boston, Chicago, New Jersey and New York. We have an excellent career opportunity for a Receptionist in our Boston office. Individual will answer phones, screen and direct calls and maintain front desk coverage.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
• Supply basic information regarding the organization to incoming callers.
• Register external guests with security. Coordinate the reservation of conference rooms for internal and external guests.
• Prepare conference rooms for internal and external catered events.
• Ensure that the lobby and conference rooms are neat and organized.
• Maintain the Reception area kitchen and related inventory and alert the Office Assistant when supplies need to be ordered.
• Ensure that all records and resources essential to the Reception area are continually updated and accurate including the maintenance and distribution of telephone lists.
• Maintain phone system greetings and general voicemail.
• Provide administrative support to the Compliance Department.
• Provide back-up support to the Office Assistant.
• Basic clerical support including helping to process expense reports, coordinating travel and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Serve as point of contact for all facilities related issues and facilitate the resolution of any outstanding problems.
• Issue employee security badges and assist in maintaining the security system.

• Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high energy environment that is deadline driven and detail-oriented.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Works well under pressure. Candidate will be strong team player, self-motivated, and industrious.
• Flexible but effective time manager who is able to prioritize responsibilities, manage several simultaneous projects from inception to completion.
• An individual of unquestionable integrity who would be an excellent representative of the firm on both a personal and professional basis and who has the ability to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
Academic Background and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree.
• 1 year of relevant professional experience.
• Basic computer skills.
