Reconciliations Project Manager

The key function of this role is to define, assess and manage the implementation of business change that will facilitate client service improvements, capacity savings, increased alignment between segments of the organisation and other such benefits. This can include process, technology and people change initiatives and will require full lifecycle management with key duties including initial scoping, requirements definition, project planning and oversight and implementation management. They will also provide specialist guidance in business analysis to colleagues in the Change function and the business line areas, in respect of the business areas being impacted by the project, and how to define operating models, business requirements, organisational designs and solutions.

Key responsibilities:

- The role holder will be expected to drive solutions for complex business problems.

- The role holder will be expected to undertake process reviews, analysis, re-engineering, and operational impact analysis

- The role holder will be expected to lead and drive delivery of change.

- Prepare current and accurate forecast of costs, cash flow, timescales and resource requirements and agree with the Project Steering Committee

- The role holder will take responsibility for planning; they will identify all products and tasks associated with their completion and will prepare and maintain detailed and accurate project and resource plans, with current estimates for activity completion.

- They will understand the firms performance and the groups strategy and will help to shape, develop and implement the Target Operating Model.

- The role holder will interact with a number of groups across our global operation

- The role holder may be responsible for people management directly with specific line management responsibilities or indirectly as lead of a virtual team projects.

Key skills:

- Proven experience working as a PM within an Investment Banking Operations environment is essential

- Extensive product knowledge, including equities is desired

- Experience working on Reconciliations projects

- An extensive and successful track record of leading and embedding complex business change

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Strong knowledge of Asset Classes
