The Recruiter plays a key role in building the company’s management team and takes a targeted, strategic approach to talent acquisition. The individual possesses keen analytical abilities necessary for identifying top talent and refining the company’s recruitment strategies. Incumbent will exhibit exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills needed to effectively assess candidates and to connect highly qualified individuals to leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities/ Duties
- Build sustainable relationships with current and potential job candidates through a range of initiatives, including telephone, job fairs, social networking, etc.
- Collaborate and consult with facility hr managers and hiring managers on strategic and tactical recruitment plans designed to meet their business objectives through the acquisition of talent.
- Work directly with all levels of management from Supervisor to President.
- Responsible for effective and fast recruitment processes both internally and externally
- Suggest proper Medias for approaching the right caliber candidates.
- Source, screen and interview candidates for open positions. Coordination of onsite interviews including scheduling and travel arrangements.
- Administer candidate process from initial offer to acceptance in a timely and professional manner
- Proactive coordination with departments for interviews
- Experience staffing manufacturing professionals including internal and external recruitment as well as placement and college recruiting.
- Match candidate skills with appropriate openings
- Facilitate candidate interview feedback sessions to assist the hiring managers with proper candidate selection.
- Extend employment offers.
- Maintain processes for an Applicant Tracking System.
- Attract and retain high-caliber qualified candidates, and diversity candidates through employer branding, as well as outbound/inbound recruiting tactics on an ongoing basis.
- Assist in creating marketing materials targeted to current and potential candidates
- Able to utilize all recruiting tools to identify and attract potential candidates.
- Provide regular updates to Talent Management Manager
- Ensure that all proper applicant information is entered timely and accurately.
- Coordinate with universities and various resources.
- Attend job and college career fairs to interview and attract potential talent
- Provide excellent customer service to candidates and hiring managers
- Assume further responsibilities that may evolve in the future
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and flexible hours.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate must enjoy the challenges of recruiting, as well as have a proven record of driving strategic initiatives. Prefer 3+ years experience in a fast-paced professional manufacturing environment. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent critical thinking, analytical, written and oral communication skills are required. The candidate must also be confident in his or her own judgments and receptive to feedback. Candidate must possess knowledge of MS Office applications and familiarity with the internet, including social networking. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
